About

I am a stay-at-home dad to one fantastic little girl, my little Boobaby, born February, 2006. I’ve been married to Working Mom for almost three years. Before I started this career, I was a naturalist, outdoor educator, youth mentor, and many, many other things. We live in San Francisco.

Here are a couple of posts about me personally, if you want more:

The Site

At the moment (March, 2008), I’m getting about 5,000 page views a month, depending on where you look. There are around 100 feed subscribers.

Amazon product links on this site are through the Amazon Associates program; that is, if you actually buy something by clicking on my link, I’ll get a little kickback. I only link stuff I actually like, though, so there you go.

I’m putting some ads up now, but not within current posts — mostly stuff like the old Krispy Kreme wedding cake post that’s so popular. Feel free to comment if you’ve got something to say about that.

  1. Hey, I love your naturalist articles for parents… do you know of a Crunchy/outdoor/environmental education magazine for Parents…. Something like, “Ranger Rick” for mom and dad? Think, “Sence of Wonder” by R.C. expanded into a magazine…. Does such a publication exist?
